Closing remarks

Employability is a shared responsibility, and meaningful change requires collaboration beyond a single event.

Dialogue model

Not a conventional panel

Experts do not speak for 45 minutes and leave students the last five.

  1. Industry poses a real question

A panellist presents a concrete workplace problem or expectation.

  2. Students respond first

Students share what they know, what they have experienced and what they need.

  3. Faculty add the academic perspective

Curriculum realities, learning constraints and opportunities for change.

  4. Industry responds and challenges

Panellists clarify expectations, address misconceptions and suggest practical solutions.

  5. The moderator captures an action

Each discussion ends with one insight, a possible intervention, or a question for follow-up.

Discussion questions

What we will ask

Are our graduates industry-ready?

What should a graduate be able to do on day one? What should industry stop expecting from freshers?

What should we build together?

Which parts of the curriculum should be co-designed? What is one collaboration that could launch within 90 days?
